President and CEO of GM Mortgage Company since 1995, John is a well-respected, savvy and successful professional who brings a “block and tackle” mentality to the bargaining table.
John is also dedicated to giving back. He is on the Athletic Board and various committees for the University of San Diego, is a Co-Founder of Vigilucci’s Beach Bocce World Championship which has raised over $1 million for local charities since its inception in 1980, and is a longtime member of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers.
A self-described sports fanatic, Manson was a standout defensive back at USD. In addition to earning a B.A. in History, he merited Player of the Year honors, ultimately signing a free agent contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. Married to Debbi since 1981, John has two daughters and five grandchildren.
